So Many Years….Gone By

Early on

Dave Trudeau was born in Dexter, Maine and grew up in Portland, Maine. At age 14 he started a rock and roll band. A small town local band, they called themselves “The Inmen’. They played at mostly local venues. The band played music from the sixties. Music from bands such as “The Young Rascals”, “Jimmy Hendricks”, “The Rolling Stones” and the like.

He married in 1970 Priscilla Giles, who also grew up in Portland, Maine. They have been married for 54 years now and have two sons Todd and David as well as four grandchildren. Marriage and raising a family put music on hold for David.

Over the years he became an entrepreneur and part-time inventor. He sold the rights to his sports umbrella patent to baseball legend Lou Brock of the St Louis Cardinals. In the early 80’s he took advantage of an opportunity to purchase a small print shop and ended up retiring from the printing and marketing industry in 2018.

Since retiring, looking to stay busy, he had the time and desire to write song lyrics and get back into music. He has written songs from a variety of genres “I Found A Diamond Last Night”, “A Mother’s Love”, “I Would Sing You A Love Song” and several other unpublished songs.
